PDF Liars (Licking Thicket Book 2) with Free EASY Reading!

I like this Licking Thicket series. Fakers was good, but Liars is excellent.These characters have depth and relatable personalities that kept my attention throughout the piece. The storyline is well thought out, and Parrish and Diesel carry it along with humor, passion, honest emotion and…a bunch of chickens. Chickens. I know it sounds strange, but it works.The bad guys are awful and easy to hate, but there would be no reason for these two lovely men to come together without them.The focus isn’t on the craziness of the town like it was in the first book. Sure, there are still humorous asides and shenanigans just waiting to happen, but this book shows the heart of the town. The love and generosity they feel for the townspeople. It is very touching. And believable.The humor isn't over the top like the previous book. But there is plenty at which to laugh. Many times I had to stop, catch my breath, and dry my tears of mirth.The sexy times are very well done and are quite spicy. Mmmmmm.The tender emotions Diesel and Parrish share with each other hit me right in the gut. And their care and attention to that precious baby are sweet and touching.I shed a tear or two, but mostly, I just inserted myself into their lives and enjoyed the ride.There are character cameos from the previous book, and it was nice seeing how they are faring in this zany town.Liars is an excellent continuation of the Licking Thicket series. These authors have created a gem in this collaboration, and I look forward to more from them both.
